“Everything can be better”! With that message and starting with the kitchen of every household, Sanitas moves beyond the limits of the home and expands its actions to the community to lay the foundation for a better future for all.
We reach out to our fellow citizens to meet their needs, particularly for access to food, which for many is not to be taken for granted.
In cooperation with the non-governmental organisation “Boroume [We can]”, we have donated 550,000 portions of food to date, along with food packing items to those in need.
And that's not all. This planet is our great home and through various actions, such as cleaning parks and public spaces, we take steps to keep our surroundings clean and to make our neighbourhoods more beautiful.
With small but important steps, we improve all of our lives to create a better society overall.
Sarantis Group and the mega brand, SANITAS, true to their commitment to reduce their ecological footprint, organized for the second consecutive year, the joint voluntary cleaning action with the support of Save Your Hood. In Honor of World Environment Day, employees from the Group carried out this year’s clean-up at the Vravrona Aquatic Reserve. Over 60 enthusiastic volunteers, motivated by the slogan "Everything can be better", which embodies SANITAS's commitment and purpose, participated in this year's event. Equipped with SANITAS FLEX & STRONG bags made from 100% recycled plastic, they managed to collect 5,000 liters of waste from the area, demonstrating that every small action makes a significant impact on the urban environment in which we live and work.
